I am a therapist dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, process life’s challenges, and find your way forward. Life can be overwhelming at times, and I understand how difficult it can be to face stressful phases of transition. I am here to support you through these changes, offering a compassionate and attentive presence as we work together to better understand your experiences.

I have worked extensively with individuals dealing with depression, low self-esteem, and interpersonal conflicts, as well as those facing complex family dynamics. My approach is client-centred, meaning your needs and experiences guide the work we do together. I have an extensive experience in supporting people from international and multicultural backgrounds, recognising how deeply personal history and cultural identity shape us. My role is to support you and ensure you feel understood and respected throughout the therapeutic process.

Fluent in both English and Italian, I can offer therapy in the language that feels most comfortable for you. This linguistic flexibility allows me to connect more deeply with clients and ensures that you can express your thoughts and feelings in a way that feels most natural.

As an integrative therapist, I draw upon my training in cognitive-behavioural therapist (CBT), which focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, enabling you to develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving. By recognising how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions, we can work together to create practical strategies that support positive change and help you navigate your struggles more effectively.

In addition to CBT, I integrate elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). ACT encourages you to embrace your thoughts and feelings without judgment while committing to actions that align with your values and goals. This approach promotes psychological flexibility, allowing you to cope with difficult emotions and experiences more effectively. By learning to accept rather than avoid, you can cultivate a greater sense of resilience and focus on what truly matters to you.

In my practice, when required, I apply an Inner Child therapeutic approach too. Inner Child therapy focuses on healing emotional wounds from childhood that continue to affect one’s behaviour, emotions, and relationships in adulthood. It involves reconnecting with the "inner child"—the part of oneself that holds childhood memories and unmet needs – with the aim to process past trauma and re-parent the self with love and compassion, through emotional growth and healthier coping strategies.

I also incorporate psychodynamic theory, which explores how past experiences and unconscious processes influence present behaviour, and utilise person-centred techniques to create a warm, supportive environment that prioritises your individual needs. Furthermore, I employ mindfulness techniques to help you develop the awareness and self-compassion needed to manage difficult emotions and bring more balance into your life.

Together, we will work on developing coping mechanisms that feel right for you. I will help you explore and identify positive coping strategies, support you in confronting your anxieties, and guide you towards healthier ways of dealing with emotions. My goal is to help you cultivate resilience and learn how to establish new, beneficial behaviours and attitudes that can support your overall well-being. I believe therapy is a journey of self-discovery, and I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you take each step forward.

As a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), I am committed to providing care that is grounded in ethical practice. This ensures that you receive professional, compassionate, and respectful support at all times.

In my previous roles as a therapist with Crisis and The Health Agency, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of difficulties, from trauma and anxiety to depression and low self-esteem. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complex challenges people face and have shaped my approach to therapy. I know that the path to healing can be difficult, but I also believe in the incredible capacity for growth and change within each of us. I am here to help you find that path at a pace that feels right for you.
